Bonn's Beethoven connections and museum choices make different starting points for a visit. Beethoven House focuses attention on the composer, while Beethovenhalle requires considering the nature of the performance or visit you want. Compare those entries with Haus der Geschichte, Kunstmuseum Bonn and Bundeskunsthalle before choosing the day's principal indoor stop.
The Minster, Altes Rathaus and Poppelsdorf Palace add architectural interests, but a building's exterior is a different proposition from a museum collection or a scheduled event. Use the dedicated guides to establish what each visit actually involves, particularly if you are arranging an afternoon around a single exhibition or concert.
Drachenfels and Drachenburg introduce an excursion decision beyond the central sights. The summit and castle are separate parts of that choice, so check access and effort for both before assuming that one automatically includes the other. A Bonn day does not need every kind of attraction to feel complete.
