Augsburg's visitor choices extend well beyond a single old-town circuit. The water-system guide follows one strand of the city's heritage; the Fuggerei, Rathaus and Goldener Saal address others. Compare those visits before adding the cathedral or a tower climb, so that civic history, social history and a view from above do not become interchangeable boxes on a checklist.
The museum choices also need separating. Schaezlerpalais, Maximilianmuseum and the Glaspalast collection are distinct reasons to spend time indoors. The Roman Museum guide answers a different historical interest, while the Puppenkiste material requires distinguishing the museum experience from a theatre performance. A family outing built around the zoo will need a different rhythm from either.
Use the park and outdoor entries when you want a break between collections. Open the detailed guide for each chosen interior or activity to check what a visit includes; the attraction name alone will not explain the available experience.
