Rothenburg's town walls and Rathaus tower provide different ways to look across the old town. The covered-walkway guide concerns a route; the tower entry concerns a particular climb and its access. Choose between them according to the experience you want, rather than assuming that every viewpoint deserves a place in a short visit.
The museum choices also differ sharply. The Imperial City Museum, Medieval Crime and Justice Museum and Christmas Museum are not interchangeable introductions to the town. St. James Church and the Franciscan Church provide other interiors, each with its own artistic or historical interest. Read their individual scope before planning several admissions in the same afternoon.
Topplerschlösschen and the church at Detwang bring the surrounding landscape into consideration. They should be judged as outings in their own right, with the walk or approach included in the decision. Select a few visits that develop your interest beyond the familiar street scenes instead of rushing through every named attraction.
